Pressed Sandwiches


Since I don’t own a Panini press, I just toast sandwiches on my cast iron skillet and place a serving plate and heavy pot on top for a make-shift sandwich presser. This is an easy way to liven up regular sandwiches- add a nice bowl of soup and you’ve got a tasty speedy meal!

3 Ways to eat a Soy Turkey Sandwich-
Sandwich #1: with Pesto, Brie, and Granny Smith Apple slivers
Sandwich #2: Pesto, Mozz and Avocado
Sandwich #3: Fresh Spinach and Goat Cheese

yum! still remember the baby bella/goat cheese pressed sandwich you made for me. YUM. could probably use one right...now.

Lyna seems to have a hard time cooking anything less than delicious and these sandwiches were no exception. Although, I am surprised there was no mention of the rad mexican table clothe (also featured in that shot).
