A view in Texas

I'm imagining tumbleweeds rolling across my feet and hearing the distant sound of something rusty squeaking, this explains my lack of posting. I have been culinarily uninspired lately! There have been a FEW things here and there. On a recent trip to Texas I devoured some tasty spinach enchiladas...then there was a craving for nostalgia, so I baked a batch of my favorite childhood cookies- Snickerdoodles! Perhaps I need to start eating out more to get inspiration ;) It is restaurant week after all.

Last week, we did catch lunch at Lunetta not knowing it was a designated restaurant and tried the prix fixe lunch menu. It was a cute lil joint, but eh- nothing to rave about. One thing worth mentioning was the Antipasti we ate, Parmesan Arancini, which I will have to try re-creating my own version at some point (haven't been in the mood for risotto in this weather)...To future variations of Arancini!
